The VE.Direct TX digital output cable can be used in combination with the BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT chargers.
The cable has a number of functions, firstly the cable is designed for adding load output functionality to the larger MPPT chargers (MPPT 100/30 and larger) that do not have a load output.
The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connector of a MPPT charger with a battery protect or a solid state relay to switch a load on or off. The cable is also designed for lighting applications in solar energy systems.
Energy consumption can be significantly reduced by the ability to dim lighting when needed.
Lower power consumption will reduce the overall system cost.
In low sun, lighting will increase even with partially charged batteries.
